So now only Ionia and Bandle City are left without Story events
If we count all the story events from the beggining with Freljord in 2013 to the Void in 2018 the only regions without an event are Ionia & Bandle City

Well... the Vastaya event had relation to Ionia and the Irelia update is next.
No, Freljord, Ionia, Bandle City, Bilgewater, Shurima, and Mount Targon all need their own champion icons to be released in the same mannor as Noxus, Demacia, Piltover, Zaun, and Void got theirs.
And since those icons do exist in the concept art archives, then its only a matter of time before we return to these locations again to update their lores.
