Riot has failed horribly to handle the Bots/Hackers in Co-op & ARAM games

The amount of bots and 3rd party program users in the Co-op vs AI games is disgusting and after all this time Riot is compeltely worthless to do anything about it. I wouldnt complain if it was 1 bot on my team but when its 3 and 4 bots the game is completely unplayable. No matter how good you are it's impossible to beat 5 well organized intermediate AI bots with non-functioning illegal 3rd program bots on your team.

I haven't played even 1 game where my team wasnt at least 2 or more bots and its extremely frustrating and it shows that everyone can do whatever they want and this company is helpless against it. This problem has been ongoing for a long time but now it has gotten completely out of hand into a point where the game is not playable anymore, when you see multiple bots in every game it means they have failed horrible.

They ban bots and script users in waves for a very simple reason.

Information.

If it instantly banned then someone could eventually make a file or edit a file that Riot servers would still identify as a true file.

By banning in waves throughout the year, it makes it much harder to determine exactly what caused the bot or script to get detected.

It's a never ending cycle, even if Riot patches the game it is still software and someone out there will find a way to exploit features of it. Nothing can be fixed permanently when it comes to computers and technology.. eventually someone will find a way to hack into or exploit anything that can be made with technology.

Here's my take on co-op vs. AI bots (different from bots you'd encounter in PvP environment).

I've definitely encountered some useless bots in these games. Most recently, I've noticed odd jungling bots that don't seem to level, nor do they seem to build items.

I don't feel their affect on bot games is as pronounced as you say. Even if there are 4 bots, the easy bots are still incredibly easy to beat, even if you're playing without knowledgeable teammates. They also reduce queue times, one benefit to there being bots.

In the long run, they're not affecting us as much as they do Riot's profits, since players wouldn't have to level accounts and buy merchandise. If anything, they're negatively affecting whoever buys them, as the buyer runs the risk of having his newly purchased account banned for scripts/botting.

This is in line with Riot's current method to banning these bots: in waves. This method is beneficial to Riot in that they do not expose to botters how their bots were discovered.

What really gets me is that Riot isn't banning them as soon as the OLD software is detected.
