Jhin and Kindred are the same person?

So I recently learned the other day that Kindred and Jhin could possibly be the same person?!?! So I stumbled accross a youtube video and it explained how kindred and jhin could be the same person at different time periods. This got me thinking "how is this possible?" Then later in the video a point was brought up that Bard can time travel and proving that time travel is possible and that Jhin and Kindred could be the same person. This is really cool to think about. Please watch this video it is really cool.

No, they arent, because Kindred is not a person.

And the Tale that Lamb tells to Wolf is not to be taken literally.

I did, but as i said before: Riot said that the tale of the man and the axe is not literal and Kindred has been Kindred since always.

Jhin is a person that always "works" with the death and he knows the legend of Kindred (Just like tons of people in Runeterra, including Karthus)... if He and Lamb hum the same song, it may be because that song must be dedicated to Kindred by people who belives in them.

Just because someone makes references to someone else it doesnt mean that they are the same person, If someone that belives in Jesus start to make references to the bible, it doesnt mean that he IS Jesus.

This is another reason they could be the same person is that the ideas for Jhin actually came from Kindred when kindred was being created.

There is a big diference between "This guy and this other guy are the same person" and "an original concept for a champion was split in two champions"

Saying that Kindred and Jhin are the same person because they both were originated form a single concept, its like saying that Ziggs and Nautilus are the same person because they both were originated from "Ivan, the Mad Bomber".

There was a comment to the video below and I think THIS makes sense and the YouTube user may be right, here is the comment: "Or, another theory, what if Jhin is the actor that Kindred kills in her lore? Then he is somehow resurrected via cybernetic technology (which does exist and has happened within the LoL universe). This would explain his injuries, his obsession with death, his love for the dramatic and his relationship with Kindred. Plus it wouldn't be the first time Riot snuck a champion into the lore of another, and since Jhin was already fairly fleshed out by Kindred's release its possible that they could have intentionally preempted him in her lore." Jhin =Kindred

The actor is female, Jhin is male... and Ionia do not have that technology. Also, it was said by Riot that Jhin is not a cyborg.

Yes, jhin actually went under a cosmetic surgery and became a woman.

I SERIOUSLY doubt it since Kindred can't travel through time. They may be death, but they can't time travel since no where has it ever stated they could. Also, Jhin uses a gun which he likes using due to the number 4, while Kindred has never shown interest in guns or the number 4.

So they aren't identical people. They aren't going to be a perfect match of each other. But is it weird that they do some of the same things in game? That some theories do make sense to them being possibly the same person? Or maybe the other half?

I personally believe it's just a nice touch made by Riot to commemorate the shared concept origin for both champions, i don't think it has to be taken that literally. But hey, it's just a theory, personally i'm pretty biased about the whole concept of "champion x is champion y after Time travel/posession/impersonification/ecc (See Leblanc is Jarvan, Nocturne is Zed theories), but that is my own personal opinion. There are many things that could point at this direction, but there are also many that point otherwise; as i said, mere speculation here from both parts.
