How do you think Orianna's lore will change post league?

I'm wondering what they will do with her.

Probably the same story except instead of being in the league orianna wanted to be somewhere or something else and dies trying to pursue the goal.

And why does he make a weapon named after her?

he makes it because he's destroyed with guilt. Their are most likely other places for fighting besides the league or he could have made her a weapon so he'd never lose her again.

The ball was created to protect orianna,so it would still make sense for it to exist. Oriannas father just doesn't want to loose her again.

He wanted to make a replacement for his daughter, something to live the life she never could. He threw in the Ball to protect her new 'life' from anything and everything.

Or perhaps he creates Orianna for his daughter. To care for her and be a friend. Then one day they are being robbed by a thief and he kill the inventors daughter and runs away. He creates the ball for Orianna to find and kill his daughter murderer. And the inventor decides to let Orianna find its place in the world.
