Katarina's New Lore!
Damn, my girl use to poison herself in order to bring up her resistances.
That's terrifying... yet intriguing...
I wish it was a little bit longer though. I wanted more than just a polished up version of her previous lore.
"the wily General Du Couteau pushed her to learn the way of the blade; to cut away the empire’s enemies not with reckless brutality, but deadly precision. He was a harsh teacher with many pupils, and notoriously difficult to impress."
The thing that bothered me with this part is that in the past lores she always CHOSE the path of being an assassin. That she had many choices opened to her and she chose to be an assassin.
I'm sure you can infer that she partly chose to be an assassin. Depends on how you read it I guess, if you see her Father's push as either a gentle nudge or a forceful decision. It just seems strange that they're presenting Noxus as a place of opportunity and choice, and yet the poster child for the city is being "pushed" into her decisions. It almost feels like the typical "parent living through their child" trope.
I mean of course, Katarina definitely admires her father, so I think either way she would have ended up where she is now. I think I might just be hung up on the word "pushed".
What do y'all think?
