The way lore is set up now is actually really cool
So I started playing Camille a bit, and I think she's a super cool champion, both stylistically and playstyle-wise. I wanted to know a little more about her lore, so I first check the League client where the champion bio used to be, and I only found just a small little blurb. Pretty much nothing there. Well, I knew League kinda had a lore revamping moment and there were some rough spots here and there (at least for me), so I know that there is lore available outside of the client, so I just Google "camille lore" and the first result is the universe.leagueoflegends page for Camille, and I can just scroll through the page and read her bio there. Along with the bio I can read the super cool comic, which, through the artwork, gives me a little more of an idea of how she would fight and traverse terrain with her grapple hook that I can't really see in-game. Even just on the universe.leagueoflegends site I can look at all of the other tidbits and pieces of lore for other things in the League universe, like artwork of Piltover which I think is SUPER cool. (An open-world RPG set in the League universe would be the sickest thing ever.)
So yeah I just thought I'd bring this all up. I was a bit disenchanted with the League lore after a certain point, but ultimately I can see how taking the "League"/summoner aspect outside of the lore really opened up a lot more for creative opportunities. Also, trimming down the bio page in the client was just a good move layout-wise, while centralizing all the heavier chunks of lore onto a dedicated lore website is great to expose the rest of the League universe into immediate proximity of anyone interested in the League lore. Cool beans Rito. Gj.
