Because it was bad! Ahri's splash is iconic to league nowadays. It should never change. Dont you trust me?
The new splash was released, there was a huge outcry of dissatisfaction, it became the only splash pulled from the PBE.
Guess what happened. Go on, guess.
I'm with you... I kinda wished they would have kept it. I really liked it.
