Everyone is saying Leona is dead

But honestly, I'm not sure people have that right personality associated to her.

**Thematic: **She was born into a warrior people. Yes she detests fighting, but that is not to say she isn't perfectly capable of be an efficient killer.

**Gameplay: **She is one of the most, if not the most aggressive support in the game.

Lore: Although not in the same words as her original story, she still has nods to her passive side. In her old lore she spared a fellow tribsmen, in the new one she spared what appeared to be a child celestial of some sort. Also, she deliberately (for as long as she could) held back her own power when fighting off the barbarians, and she only finished them because she knew they were a threat that would only return. Even in Pantheons lore, rather than pursue that barbarians, she decided to stay behind and only defend from attackers.

In short, yes Leona has had some sort of passive side in the beginning. But whether in this story or her old one, at the end of the day she is, and has always been, a warrior to protect her people.

It's not about passivity/aggressiveness. Leona was a protector. In some ways, she still is. But her personality before was that she was doing in to protect those who can't protect themselves. Now? She's only a protector in the sense that she has a duty to protect her people and performs that duty.

She's never been against fighting, but it mattered to her why she was fighting while the rest of the Rakkor seemed to like fighting for its own sake.

Read the bit about the golden boy again. To me, it reads a lot clearer if she was enchanted into not killing him - almost as if it were against her will.

I am really not a fan of how aggressive she is in thew new lore. She wanted to hardcore murder Diana, she killed people without hesitation as a Rakkor.

Yeah people seem to see one aspect of the champ that they don't like and project it onto the whole champ.

I mean yes,Leona did want to kill Diana after she killed the elders(and was willing to do it when Diana was talking about the moon),but the enitre point of her lore seems to be that she did change after receiving the sun powers.

A person is not static, people can change over time and thats what happened to leona here.
