Apparently in the video there were furry female yordles too? Just wondering in case I missed something.

Poppy and Tristana both have fur.

Female yordles simply seem to have shorter fur and actual hair on top of their fur(like the one in the forge where morde appeared)

Wait... is not Blacksmith Poppy?

She had a tooth standing out. It's most likely Poppy.

Not sure if she is supposed to be blacksmith poppy or not. She does look similar to her splash art,but not really to the ingame model(the ingame model has blue fur and brown/red-hair)

I guess that the changes of colors could be due light effects the magical portal that summons Mordekaiser or something like that. But yeah, it looks different.

They always had short fur, just look at the splash art of Tristana closely

The female Yordles were originally a separate race called Meglings which is why they have different characteristics.

thats not canon anymore. they are now considered yordles too now

As I said, they were originally a different race.
