Riot, Is There Any Word On One of League's BIGGEST ODDBALLS IN THE LORE

. Annie is one of the most outdated Champions in both lore and gameplay aspects (at least character like and have gotten some progress lore-wise). Her story is so outdated it's ridiculous, and her visuals are so bizzare and out of place that nobody even recognizes her story. Her lore states that her parents are powerful mages that fleed from Noxus when the Grand General took control, which I'm not sure is still the case but we'll have to wait for a potential Noxian update. Along with that however, it's stated that she was raised in the Voodoo Lands, and is the only Champion to ever reference this place. Along with that, it's been confirmed that the Voodoo Lands are probably not even a thing anymore. So is Annie anywhere on the VGU list? I feel like she can have a lot of potential to be an interesting character and strange side of Noxus that only her story shows, along with being one of the only young children in the Champion roster.

She's far too silly, even among silly champions. Ivern's got the walk and kooky dialogue, but he's not like 6.

Annie got a VGU in I think 2012, she was one of the first to get a fully realized VGU that included new animations (recalls). She is in a pretty great spot visually, and I don't think they need to do a VGU on her at all, especially after the great changes she got in the mage update and thereafter.

What she needs is a lore overhaul and updated splashes. She needs to be placed somewhere in Runeterra that makes sense now, and I don't see that being Noxus, Ionia, or Demacia.

Annie's outdated lore is a hard example of just how flat old lore really was. I mean when her lore was new it should have been a let down, seriously three paragraphs? That's not an entire biography of lore, that should just be the opening scene!

Makes me question how the hell did the lore for champs like.. Viktor Warwick Swain Darius Soraka Leona Nidalee Veigar Zyra generate fan followings back then?

Anyway getting back to Annie, it's unfortunate that she in particular has no association to any other champ/s or region which pretty much means no foreseeable lore update in the near future. Since we've all come to know that LUs come packaged with a new champ or rework. Now Im not saying Annie has been or will be ignored by Narrative since I don't argue that they've attempted to explore their options with her. I'm more curious just how Annie's LU will be released; would it be bundled with other champs like how most are or will it be a spontaneous and independent update?

Biggest oddballs in League's lore.... Hmm... Fiddlesticks Nocturne Evelynn Annie Alistar Nunu Rammus Sivir Skarner Swain Urgot the majority of these champs either don't fit in to current lore or their old lore is three sentences long.
