Faerie Things & Dreams

Based on teasers with the rainbow bubbles, butterflies, and the Drowsy/Asleep status I feel the upcoming Champion is a creature directly from the Faerie realm.

So here are a few things I speculate

will get a small lore update. The new hamp will expand on what The Glade and Fae are.

Other characters might be included. Expanded on Demon lore and told us more about how they work. I've already addressed, as have numerous other threads on how Shaco could be a demon of chaos. And yet riot did produce this sound track.

So it tells us it was at least on their mind of what would happen if Lulu and Shaco crossed paths. This makes me wonder if Shaco could be some sort of 'Dark Fae'. These 'Fair Folk', are not the Disney faeries you're used to are very powerful, amoral, and inscrutable tricksters. Sometimes they've strictures or rules that they follow known only to them, so mortals breaking these rules suffer gravely. They are also known for taking ones first born children . Harbinger of Doom has a fae feel about him, even if only as THING some fae creature created, perhaps for some farmer's wish. He doesn't really fit with what we've learned about demons, unless he gets an update that makes him into one.

is also curious. In the For Demacia story he was called The Demon of Fossbarrow. But he seems very unlike the two official Demons we've seen and how they operate. Even whose more predatory, still needs a 'touch with desire' to kill someone, and then feed on their emotional energies. Nocturne is called the Eternal Nightmare, and perhaps he is connected with dreams and related things. Dreams have been regarded as mystical. Where then do Nightmares come from? Perhaps humans called him a Demon simply because they didnt know what he was. After all they called Jhin the Golden Demon, and even sent 'Demon Hunters' after him -but it turned out he was only a man.
