Keeping his status as an anti-mage sort of archetype, but I'm more intrigued about this marble looking anti-magic stone that Demacia's got. Wonder if it's tied in with Demacian Steel.

I'll be waiting to see if, after Galio's rework, his Universe page has Kassadin as a related champion. He probably won't, and the two anti-magic stones are probably completely different.

Sharjo9 votesWell humor me this; in the new lore, the Monolith was a collosal meteorite that crashed in to Runeterra before recorded history. Demacia was founded upon the land where the Monolith crashed ages prior.
Seem at all feasible? I mean I know this isn't canon, just throwing out wild speculation.

Shadowkirby141 votesThat... would makes a lot of sense, if you think about it. Malphite's a sentient mountainous creature, and if Demacia's founded upon that place where the Monolith made impact, that means all the marble material must originate from the Monolith.
So I'm guessing Malphite could have some marble-like qualities in his newer design, but who knows. Theorycrafting's fun to do in our downtime.

I think that these zones of great power (the Blessed/Shadow Isles, Demacia, Shurima, Ionia and the Freljord) might be hiding some cosmic-level magics which is why Aurelion Sol says that "This world holds the key to Targon undoing". Not to mention that Targonians themselves seem to have a great interest on Runeterra having already 3 Aspects safeguarding it (I don't count Pantheon as one of the guarding ones).
