Why is Varus still kicking...??

So I know lore has been iffy lately but a staple of Varus' background is that he's being killed by this blight that he used in efforts to save his home. And well, I'm pretty sure time is passing and he has been insiting for a while now that he doesn't have much time left... so why is he not dead??

You could argue that time doesn't really pass for the champions considering no one ages in-game but this is lore wise~ And I can agree, this thread was only made for fun but... it is funny to meVarus (but he's a Heartseeker and we can't let that body die )

I don't think death's what Varus has to expect if the Blight finishes its work and overwhelms him, at least not initially. It's much more a corrupting, changing influence, rather than a fatal plague. It's his sense of self, his identity, that he's feeling is on 'borrowed time'.

Why does Brand not take extra damage from water themes spells?

Why do item 1001 help Anivia Cassiopeia Corki Nami Nocturne , and even champs that fly likeJanna move faster?

There are plenty of funny inconsistencies to marvel at in league :D

Because the Blight is having too much fun killing things. With Varus it has a free ride to an all-you-can-eat buffet of blood, suffering, and death.

It could be a simple contract made between him in the pact. While it slowly takes over him and maybe makes him more vulnerable over time, it might not be allowed to directly kill him. My thoughts are that its probably something along the lines of "You give me your power, and you can have my body when I'm done."

I've often wondered if maybe Soraka wasn't keeping him alive. If there might be anything strong enough to keep the blight at bay, it would be her. Would be interesting to see if it's just "blight taking it's agonizingly sweet time" or "strongest healing magic in Runeterra".

Question, why nerf Kass with immediate plans to buff afterwards? Why was his nerf rushed?

Real time =/= Lore time

Annie is still a child because even though real life-years passed since her introduction, the ingame world barely moved forward(if they moved forward at all).

The same goes for varus. Not to mention that we don't know how long he still has,he could still have some years.

Its a matter of perspective ;)

That, and I'm pretty sure Varus made a deal with the Institute of War to prolong his life. I like to think so anyway.

the arc reactor on his chest is keeping the blight at bay.
