Morgana VGU suggestion

Other the years the idea of a new champion using a whip was brought to the table several times, over and over again, it is one of the most requested archetypes. This idea was so wanted among the fans of League that character concepts and ideas flourished on the internet. But I think we shouldn't look up for a new champion for this archetype to be finally fulfilled, since we have the best opportunity ever !

Back then in 2009 when Morgana was about to be released, she was supposed to use a pink electrical whip as her core weapon, it was also confirmed by a rioter as you can see here.

Her first concepts were also seen her bearing a whip.

The idea was abandoned because the whip was hard to animate back then, but what do stops them giving her whip nowadays?

I really think it was a splendid idea and it would reinforce her sadistic and vindicative attitude, since not only her character is all about pain/punishment, but also because the weapon itself is one of the only weapons to not have been introduced in League yet ! What is the best weapon to punish someone and make them suffer ? A whip ! ( We can exclude Thresh & Evelynn for obvious reasons)

Riot should consider giving her the whip she deserve, and make her more unique as a fallen angel and stand more as a character with this dual conflict. A whip for Morgana and a sword for Kayle, the thematic looks really pleasant doesn't it ?

And that's exactly why I wrote "VGU' and not "VU" on my title, we all know Morgana should receive small gameplay changes, because adding a new weapon to her could alterate her gameplay. Riot are still deciding if they would touch Morgana or not, and they can't skip this possibility until their final decision. I'm not telling them to change completely her core spells aka her Q or her shield, but maybe giving more fun to play by adding to her gameplay new interesting assets, since we all know she's very static as a champion. The change would be on her passive and W, trying to incorporate the whip possibility to her gameplay would make many people happy !

Riot may have or not already considered this idea but as a Morgana main and absolute fan I couldn't resist to share this in the boards with you guys, let me know what you think and feel about this !

Wouldn't that destroy her identity as a mage tho?

As a Morg main ( technically she is my main in my secondary role, but hell, i have over 400k mastery on her, I can call her my main) Nidalee is tru main and wiafu ( and our new pumpkin cat overlord)

i think this would be a VERY cool to see her finally get this, i am also HEAVILY looking forward to her legacy "exiled skin" getting the much needed love and attention on her particle and skill graphics to match beautiful combination the gold, white, and blood red of her model.

as for her whip, since she is only getting a VGU and not a gameplay update ( THANK GOD, i was horrified they would either make her something i no longer loved to play or a broken OP champ with an absurd ( and maybe finally deserved) banrate like they did with Irelia so i would never get to play her)

but because of it i think it would have to be her auto's, and unfortunately her kit really doesn't go with "whip" in its current state and because of the "fast" and (idk how else to word this) "whiplike" movement of a "whip" i dont feel it would work for her Q which has a very slow projectile speed, nor am i sure how she could use it for her tormented soil or her black shield.

her ulti would make sense if it was one target but i am unsure how they can visuall make it so one whip tethers to all targets

I'm sure if they did it would look spectacular, but i am unsure as to how it would be possible.

and as mush as i would love it for her autos i do think having it ONLy for her auto would be out of place. and unless they made her Q work with it ( which seems like it would be infeasible due to it having one of the slowest projectile speed in the game and her weapon being a whip, i can understand that they may have to again drop the whip...

i really hope they can add it. i really do.. i would LOVE ikt if they managed to do it, but it would have to be for more than just her autos or it would feel out of place.
