So Riot, are you thinking about making a REAL vampire champion ?

Because, as Riot GroovyLord said, Vladimir isn't a vampire, he just control blood, he's an hemomancer, and has nothing to do with the vampire archetype which is a night creature who feed on his preys by biting them alive Plus Vladimir's lore is quite far from what are the vampires, he was just an "average" noxian who liked to sacrifice children, and he found an antique temple (what a coincidence !) were an odd old man teaches him how to control blood...

Seriously, I think that having a real vampire archetype to LoL would be awesome, for those who says "We already have Vladimir and Evelynn" I mean look, we clearly have Akali , Zed , Shen and Kennen who are all Ninjas, we have Plant/Nature based champions like Maokai , Zyra and Ivern , and much more, but they all have different abilities, powers and they're quite different and unique.

So having a (female assassin/mage) vampire champion who can change into a batswarm, maybe dealing magic and physical damage by biting other champions and becoming strong in 1vs1 would clearly be AWESOME, I like the idea really, hope Riot could tell us if we're getting one in the future, because now we have our reaper which is Kayn. We clearly need a vampire who fits in the fantasy world.

Btw, after watching Jeremy's video about the 9 concepts that Riot liked to implement in LoL.. Having an old crazy witch, would be so NICE !

I want to hear what you think about it, guys !

Whatever they end up doing, I would never leave it up to Riot to make "just" a vampire champion. They'd have to add more to her theme somehow without stepping on the toes of other champions too much.

The reason they haven't done this is because it's a lazy design idea that's been experimented tons of times before in other games. If League of Legends was released today I'm certain we wouldn't even have champions like Wukong or Alistar anymore.

I'm certain that's going to be new eve. In her color text, she hold's Chem baron Takeda like that of a Vampire while baring her fangs. It's almost certain that's what she is. I hope Riot makes her one after implying it. I'm a big eve fan.

Yes of course, Eve ancient lore said that she transformed into a vampiric demon, and then her new lore said that she was affiliated to the shadow isles without any details, now we can think she will be reworked as a succubus..

But I meant, that having a base themed champ like ninjas or anything else, doesn't necessarily means that they will be identical. As you clearly said, each ninjas have their "theme" and having a new vampire will not mean they will give him/her bloodspells, focusing the champion on a theme like bats or anything else that is connected with vampires. I totally agree with that.

I was trying to clarify things about what is a vampire, and Vladimir doesn't count as it, his name is Vladimir like the famous Dracula, he has Nosferatu and vampire themed skins, but still, he has nothing to do with vampires as long as he just control blood and he still "human", vampires are vicious and cruel night creatures who need to hunt and chase their preys to feed.

As long as he doesn't sparkle ill be fine with it.

Would rather it be a male champion cause a female version would much likely share a lot of characteristics with Elise.

What do you mean by a 'real vampire'?

'cuz there are a whole bunch of critters in folklore that are radically different from each other that are all lumped under the term 'vampire'.

The majority still sees VladimirVladimir as the vampire of League by default and it can't be helped, unless if they change him completely in his update

I think it would be pretty cool to see a void vampire champion. Like some monstrous void creature that hungers on blood to get stronger maybe having a kit based on life steal or even making him a parasitic jungler that can get boosts on certain stats based on what jungle monster it latches on and controls.

Evelynn gets a rework there she get a unique concept Vladimir vlad is alos on the list for a VGU and will get some lore, gameplay and visual update in the future

Well you say, they have 4 ninjas in the game, but I think that riot themselves tries to differentiate those ninjas,to avoid the problem that they could end up too similar. I mean Shen is the only spirit warrior,Kennen is basically the lightning mage of the game and zed is the only shadow doppelganger master(kayn has one move where he also makes one,but thats barely part of his kit).Akali is really the only one who lacks something special and she is on the list for a VGU.

Now what does this mean for a vampire? It means that if we'd get a vampire champ, then they'd likely avoid giving said vampire champ too many blood abilities. by doing that, they could ensure that Vlad remains unique,as the only blood mage in the game, while the vampire could stand out thanks to something else.

And personally I'd say they should make the vampire themed around bats would be an easy way to make the vampire champ stand out even with vlad and Eve being a thing(eve isn't even necessarily a vampire)
