Who was Aatrox's host? Kayn certainly looks like a cool CHARACTER - he looks like something straight out of a game based on an anime. Wether he suits League... Well, i guess we're stuck with him either way.

Spell vamp is cool. Toggleable playstyle is awesome - it's why i love Aatrox's W. But seriously, doesnt this guy seem a little clunky? Its like he's getting all these spells from other champions - i can see Yasuo, Sion, a tint of Vladimir and even Bard and Talon. There's also that one lifesteal monster from Dota 2, with that ultimate.

Will we get more info about the darkin as a whole around this? It feels like this champion should've been released along with Aatrox's rework - Aatrox simply pales compared to this champion (though its cool how similar their darkin forms are).

The Darkin are clearly weapons. They seem to be cutting weapons, at that. What is their relation? Were they made by a sentient being? Was their corrupting influence intended, or is their own sentience or semi-sentience a side-effect from the way they were created - or the way they were used?

Do the Darkin have a purpose, or are they just mindless cliché "monster" villains that simply seek destruction? They all revolve around draining life or essence, that much is clear - but why is that? Are they simply shape shifting animals?

We will surely learn more about Aatrox and the Darkin when he gets his VGU.

In a way, does it matter? The guys gone, Aatrox won.

According to his lore (is that still canon) the first war he was in was the one between Protectorates and Magelords, fighting on Protectorate's side. Could be that the host was a Protectorate who found the sword, not being of powerful mind, Aatrox took over quickly.
