I'm starting to notice how active / lively / much is going on in the background of the new Splash Arts. I like this, attention to detail and making them really stand out :)

I agree. Why is her eye STILL red? It wasn't red in the original. It was red in the Chinese one that they tried to bring over.

It's not enough for the Chinese that she has to lose her skin tone, but also has to go full vampire by giving her a red eye? Drop the red eye...

Edit: The original splash for Nightraven also didn't take a note from Raven from X-man with that white strand of hair. Also, the model doesn't have that much white hair.

I guess...though I think if they want to do that they should add some new sounds or some new art on her ult.

Like make the vitals into a bat design and have the ult symbol be a bat.

Well she is called Nightraven,not nightbat,so I'd say staying with the raven motif would be more fitting. I mean while vampires are mainly associated with bats nowadays they are sometimes depicted with the ability to shapeshift into pretty much any animal.

her rework made her look 50, over confident and stupid (the lore was rewriten to reflect this as well fucking damm it) these splash arts (splash arts only) make her look she's in her mid 30s (nightraven) and mid 20s (royal guard)

I'm curious myself. Royal Guard is meant to depict her younger. When she part of the Royal Guard. Night Raven is an Alternate depiction of her current self. I think people are just throwing a tantrum like always.

Ooh oh, her age is officially around 27, I don't know what crack you're smoking. Ok so most renaissance/mideval arranged marriages were around the age of 14, but for leniencys sake let's say she's 16. So 16, she's brash and angry(as in the new lore) so she challenged everyone, her father steps in because no way a girl so young is gonna win in a fight like that, so then there's a time skip after she kills her dad, 10 years lets say(even tho it seems to be more around 6-8) so there it is. She's 24-26 years old.

Stop being stupid, she only looked old in the first version which they fixed. And did you read her lore? She's not over confident, she's only perceived that way because she knows her skill and gives people an alternative to death, which they see as her arrogance. Did you even read her lore or did you just circle jerk for no reason? I'm going with the latter.

you and everyone else that's a hater when we call the new fiora "bad" is a hater as we say she was made older, by a lot. AND SHE WAS, she moved from 20s to 50s

and that's not for a debate. Her lore was rewrite to show how she is old now. You don't see Annie now celebrating her 21 yo party with a gankbang now do you? She is still 10-12 yo even after so much time.

Beyond the phrase, "in the years that followed" there is nothing to indicate that Fiora is beyond 30. Hell she might be in her late twenties because the path to becoming her house head started because she refused to get married.

Now I'm not the biggest buff on medieval or even Renaissance history (which I believe Valoran is a world that's a pseudo mix of the two) but I believe the age to marry off noble daughters is pretty young compared to our standards. Like maybe 16 or less.

Considering how you could interpret "years that followed" we'd have to assume that it was at most 9 years, otherwise they would have said decades.

So Fiora could be anywhere from her thirties to her twenties.

And on the topic of women looking a particular age, do you know that women can look very different from their age? Men as well. I look younger than I actually am sometimes, and my sister herself doesn't even look to be in her twenties.

So maybe I don't see it in her text? Where do you?

The Old ones were really showing their age. Besides this is Riot's new way all VGU (Visual and Gameplay Updates) will have new splashes to help better match the new look. Right now they just going back and updating those who didn't get theirs

And thats kind of the problem with Fiora. Fiora is, hands down, the newest champion on the roster to receive a rework. I thought Nightraven looked fine, but I agree that Royal Guard was showing its age.

That said, these look fantastic, especially the Royal Guard.

They chose fiora over some others because they already started on nightraven fiora back when the skin-splash-art-updates were done randomly(you know the time when we got the update to vandal brand and yade dragon wukong)so all that were left were basically 1 and a half splash arts,making fioras skin-splashart-update the smallest of them all(ok yoricks was even smaller,but he got it alongside his vgu)

It's been one patch......it took Sion over a year to get his Mecha Zero skin. Keep in mind the skin team has to have an idea of what the rework will do before they can even START working. While, yes, a year is too long, but expecting something within the SAME MONTH is asking for way too much since the skin team probably couldn't start on a Yorick skin until maybe a month and a half ago (and it's been stated that it takes about 6 months pet skin iirc).

While his first 3 splashes look a bit dated,they aren't terribly outdated either,so I dooubt he'll get a splash art update(unless he is lucky like cottontail teemo)
