We've never heard of the Seven Hells before. Hmmmm!

Miss Fortune exclaims "Seven Hells" in the Shadow and Fortune story. I wonder if this is something substantial and actually established in Runeterran mythology, or if it's just a throwaway phrase, not really supposed to be read into. We already got Kindred, the Void and the Shadow Isles, so is there really room for an entire hellish afterlife, too?

I guess there's a few champions that they could stick in a "Seven Hells"-context, though. (Aatrox Shaco Morgana Nocturne TahmKench, perhaps.)

THis is indeed the first time Hell has ever been mentioned in the lore. Not only that but "Seven Hells". SEVEN. Of course usage of the word is colloquial so which religions and regions of Runeterra actually believe in the Seven Hells is debatable.

I will say though: don't go thinking Runeterran hells are anything like our hell or traditional hells in general. In World of Warcraft hell is a black abyss where no light shines, souls go there to be forever tormented by horrifying, unknowable monstrosities. It's actually not related to the demons of the warcraft universe in any way. Throw conventions out the window folks, because the Seven Hells might be far different than you would imagine!

Especially considering that demons in Runeterra are like TahmKench and not like Aatrox.

I could have sworn "Seven Hells" was just a referencing to the "Seven Seas."

Someone on lore team was writing GoT fanfics and got it stuck in their head (it's an extremely common expletive in George RR Martin's work).

Well, I'm no expert on lore concerning Hell, but I believe that there are believed to be seven realms of Hell in Christian doctrine. It could be drawn from that, but remember that Morgana's origin is already known: she and Kayle are from another dimension populated by creatures similar to themselves. The other 4, I don't know. And what aboutJax ? :P

Since the League of Legends doesn't exist anymore, Fiddlesticks should fit right in there with Nocturne and to a lesser extent, Shaco
