Simple, the IoW doesn't exist, therefore the Adjudicators don't exist, therefore such a fight would have ended in one or the others death, which cant be allowed so it never happened.

What happened? Nothing happened. All of the lore is just an irrelevant backdrop. It's no more real than the cliffs on top's edge of the map.
