@Riot. Given Kassadin's update, have you put any thought into his geographical origins?

The new update is not huge but still a great improvement; the shapes and colours are clear and everything doesn't blend together anymore.

However, Kassadin has always had the problem of not having a clear aesthetic place of origin, except his connection to the Void. Where did he come from before his transformation? Was he Shuriman like Malzahar? Would his crude breathing-tech suggest a Zaunite origin, perhaps? Is he Noxian? Demacian? Is he ancient or young? Where does he spend his time nowadays? His clothing still don't reveal much of where in Valoran they are from. Where did he get his clothing, armour and equipment from?

If his Pre-Void skin is canon, (is it?) it still doesn't show a clear aesthetic; it might look old Shuriman-ish, I guess?

If any lore-Rioters has given this any thoughts, I'd love to hear them.
