Some of these splash updates are.....well, really bad.
Cottontail Teemo and Goth Annie are really big offenders. Maybe the people at Riot should consider leaving these two as they are?

Cottontail Teemo doesn't even look like Teemo anymore. Honestly, the original piece was a masterpiece with its soft water colours like that of a story book illustration and it was a splash I would even consider iconic to League. Seeing it replaced by this "new" piece feels like a slap to the face to those who bought the skin considering that Teemo's face looks incredibly deformed instead of the sweet and cute splash it originally had. Devil memes or not, this piece doesn't represent Cottontail Teemo at all well and is a disappointment to the splash art it's attempting to replace.
The Annie skin splash changes are also difficult to understand. Frostfire and Goth Annie's current splashes much better represent the character with the cute; yet, fierce appearance she has in the current western art.
I didn't take part into the League splash art changes discussions when they first started changing them, but this is where I'm taking a stand as well. The Cottontail Teemo piece looks incredibly unprofessional too in comparison to the splash it's changing.
I understand that they're trying to normalize splashes across regions but these aren't even the Chinese splashes, they just don't look as good as the current ones.

OMG no, trust me, you arent just that guy. I LOVE THIS SKIN. what made me love it even more was the splash art too. its so cute, sparkly and gave it character. Looking at this new splash really pisses me off. in no way is this "new" splash better at all!
i even showed the two splashes to someone who oesnt even play league, and they said they prefer the 1st one
the "new "splash feels like a complete mock up of the previous one. I dont know whats going on in the minds of the (art section?), but personally, i dont even think this skin needs to be change....
PLEASE RIOT, DONT CHANGE THIS SPLASH. ITS NOT EVEN BETTER,( looks like no time was put into the drawing at all... and seeing this when i came home from work, just really brought my day down ;w;) man, this is like really bothering me that this change was even considered.

Please Riot, I paid you for the original splash, not the new garbage. I'm not sure how I feel knowing that Riot is de-valuing my purchase by replacing the splash with something that does not even look like Teemo... :(

Riot gave the splash art design to the low bidder from deviantart. Cant wait to see the scribbles they produce next!
So many splashes are bad in the update... ffs they ruined my favourite boom boom blitzcrank too... If only they'd give us a choice between the two

Teemo's head isn't even in the right place, why would you ruin this perfect art? It wasn't low quality (in contrast with the new one which is cheaper, i could do that in ps in no time. I guess Riot should be paying me). it represented the skin in game(so no changes like that were made). What was the problem exactly?

I like the Chinese teemo one, the current one is very water color like and that just isn't something I like looking at. It lacks a lot of quality.

While the skin does look higher quality, it's just a worse picture (for cottontail Teemo, I actually don't have much of an on Annie's)

I guess you didn't need there rules set on art when there are made global or maybe you are new into it. I got aware they existed because of World of Warcraft undead difference between the American/European one vs Oriental one.
