Go read it. Seriously. It's awesome, especially Stains on a Name and Burial At Sea. Riot's lore team and music team is 100 times better than their balance team. Applause to the people who wrote the stories and created the music. A color story and patch notes are about the same length, but patch notes just make you sad. The color stories, however, can make you feel thrilled.

Nah. I gave up on lore long ago because when most champions get a piece of lore, you know they aren’t gonna anything new for the next 3 years. there’s no continuity, the world is stuck in a time freeze. a lot of them are left neglected/ unexplained for years because Riot has no idea what to do with them. Also champions’ lore and concepts are being retconned and reworked left and right and I’m not even including deleted(heavily VSU) champions.
But I do enjoy login screen, although imo the music videos like k/da and everything related to LCS are trash.
I may not agree with certain directions the lore has taken but I have to admire the work these guys are putting in, especially as this side of the game makes them no money.
They are so nearly done with the lore to get everyone on modern lore too. Just a few solo champs, some Shadow Isles and Yordles to go.
The narrative team has done a tremendous job and their vision and execution has improved greatly! Definitely looking forward to what they have to offer in the rest of 2019.

I have my grudges with the lore, but you know what? I'm just glad they're doing something with it. And I do actually like some of their new stuff more than the old.
