What should Caitlyn wear?

After the Riot blog, theres been a lot of discussion about this on here and on reddit. But honestly, I haven't seen anyone ask this directly.

What should Caitlyn wear that is central to her character? So far the only common point has been she needs to keep her hat and (possibly) her skirt.

What else should she wear as a Sheriff of Piltover? Please share your thoughts. Riot thoughts are given +2

While probably not to everyone's tastes this fellow's done some great designs for Cait: https://twitter.com/faeriefountain/status/858068169990303751

I have seen a lot of good fanart designs of her with a coat and pants. Don't really cared for the skirt.

Caitlyn's hat is pretty iconic for her character and I can't see them changing it. I think everything else is pretty fair game, because it's not very memorable outside of "she's purple".

I think the STYLING of what she wears is fine but the overall design i can agree needs touchups. Something a little more covering and Modern to fit the new piltover imo.

She needs a glorious trench coat, to match her top hat.

The hat is a must to keep, and I'd say the boots as well.

They should add her sheriff jacket that she was wearing in the Piltover story.

Exactly what she is already wearing. It fits her character perfectly. The Rioters that are complaining about how her outfit doesn't fit her theme simply lack creativity and have an irrational aversion to female skin, fitting the growing trend of a failing design team.

She's a fantasy police officer in a steampunk setting. Her outfit is perfect, one of the most iconic in the game and one of the most fitting to her setting.

The fact that people don't think it makes sense show more about them than her. They are too small minded to imagine that a woman in a position to look like a bombshell in a steampunk setting would do so. These people can get over themselves and find something that appeals to them instead of trying to change things that appeal to others.

Extrapolating from this, Caitlyn's outfit is the perfect litmus test for who should and who should not be hired for Riot's design team:

Anyone who lacks the creative flexibility to accept why Caitlyn's outfit is wonderful and appropriate is unfit for the position.

They might have better luck in accounting or dental assistantry, where creativity is not required. [slayer-jinx-wink]
