Camille and Jhin

Something I was thinking about the other day: Don't Jhin and Camille seem like foils to each other? Both are assassins who view their crimes as small things for the greater good, but they go about them drastically differently. While Jhin uses guns and other equip weapons like guns, Camille has turned her own body into a killing machine with blade legs. While Jhin is artsy and drawn out with his work, Camille is dead serious and cuts (get it?) straight to the point.

Gameplay-wise, Jhin keeps his distance, while Camille dashes in.

Camille does it as secretly as possible - Jhin wants as much of an audience as possible Camille does what is necessary to kill them - Jhin makes them as "beautiful" as possible

"As secretly as possible" is kinda comical if you really think about it, because I bet there aren't that many people in Piltover that share Camille's figure and abilities.

Jhin does not do art for the "greater good", its for the sake of beauty and his own pleasure. He is a serial killer not a vigilante crime fighter like Camille. Jhin murders for Art and Camille murders for Balance.

true. But he's also working for a portion of the Ionian government that says he's killing "for the greater good". He has his own perverse ends, but he's still ultimately being controlled by the government.

Actually its a secret that he is working for the Government and based on his lore it seems that this was more of a deal then a "lock and key" situation. They set him free and gave him weapons to make his art , probably amnesty too, and in return they give him contracts. As of right now this isn't a puppet, he is psychotic serial killer who moonlights as a hit-man. There is no actual pressure on Jhin to obey, at least none known.

I think that the possibility of being locked up again is all the pressure Jhin needs. Both still work for the government, even if it's only part time for Jhin.

This requires the re-capture of jhin at the cost of who knows how many lives and the fact that Jhin could probably blackmail the government at this point and get away with his freedom. It also took 4 yrs to capture Jhin the first time, he is better armed now, so good luck with that! Like I said, there is no "magical leash" like in Sol's case which forces Jhin to obey. Our Jhin is just smart enough to take advantage of Ionia's poor situation.

True, but still, just why he does things and why he's doing them still helps my original argument of him being a foil to Camille.
