Tryndamere (Marc Merrill) -"World runes will become a bigger deal in the lore"

WHAT THE HELL WAS TRYNDAMERE TALKING ABOUT?

I saw this come up on Reddit first and I asked the question too on the old Boards, but no one had an answer. That was back in July.

I especially want to know concerning the new lore direction. Originally Rune Terra (aka Rune-World) had focal points of magical energy making the Nexi around the world important locations.
