EDIT: A note for all; there's some lore changes abound. Her passive still seemingly means an ambassador, but she seems to be fitted for a "reluctant hero" archetype as she tries to find a worthy hero for that hammer that's OBVIOUSLY meant for her. More will be come clear when her VO and lore are released, so stay tuned!

I love that they updated all her skin splashes at once too.
I have never played Poppy, but her short bio blurb + the splash arts legit made me teary eyed. She was the hero all along!!

Um, am I the only one really annoyed by the transition to a tank in the late game? I play Poppy to be a late game hyper carry thank you very much. I'm pretty sure everyone who plays Poppy plays her to be a late game hyper carry. Why would you do this?
At least with Sion he had like three different builds and one of them actually was being a tank. Poppy at no point in time has been considered a tank. Always she has been a late game monster.

Been playing exclusively AP Poppy Hyper Carry for years now. ... Super excited! I'm going to miss AP Poppy but it hasn't been good since DFG was removed so I've sort of missed it for over a yea now anyways. I really want to see her AD ratios though. While I'll happily play her as a tank when needed... Well, what can I say? I want to nuke people literally into orbit with 400AD.
Also I really find it interesting they gave her an aoe mobility block. Talk about lockdown.
I hope they give us the option to also build a damage-dealing poppy instead of being pure bruiser or something, i wanna smash things with that hammer. :D

I don't know, that price might be a bit much for me :p ... Oh god, think if they upped her price to 6400 after her relaunch O_o
Ok for starters Love the design, have to play to feel out her changes, but... hate the new lore... i realize shes now the "reluctant hero" archetype(or whatever is stated) and not the Hero looking for Redemption or purpose(you can also say revenge, but i never looked at poppy that way), but that's just not as good. The old lore brought a tear to my eye, inspired me to pick up an play the "Little Linebacker"(as my friend dubbed her) but this new lore just kinda makes me feel nothing... i dunno, personally, i think you could of kept the old lore just replaced a few things, and still had the same direction you are trying to go. One other thing this line "Little does she know, she is that hero, and the destiny of Demacia is in her hands." (I realize that can be extremely ambiguous so it's up to us or Riot to figure out where to go with it) ya, hate that line it's too central( more like focused, but meh) for my tastes, it's like the game now has a central hero for demacia, an poppy is it, and that's just... i dunno, not right for a game like this.
TL;DR - like the art, interested in playstyle and VO, not a fan of the lore change.
