Ionian/Vastayan Lore Event

So it's pretty clear we are getting somewhat of an Ionian lore event in the near future, or at the very least a "Vastayan" lore event. I'm guessing this lore event is going to focus more on the Champions considered or related to the Vastaya, due to the sheer amount of Ionian champions. Though this means were probably only going to get a small amount of Ionian champions with new lore, notably Ahri, we are however most likely going to get more lore on more Neutral Champions with no specific faction, which is great!

My guesses are that it's going to be introduced in the sense of more Vastaya that Eduard or other explorers could've cataloged. Ahri Is practically confirmed to gain new lore Rengar Is extremely pausible, as a Rioter mentioned that we were about to learn what he truly is in the near future, and we see many cat-like humanoids in the banner for the Vastaya lore (it's also theorized that the Navori Brotherhood that kidnaps Eduard are all Rengo-like Vastaya) Soraka May be changed to be somewhat related to the Vastaya as well, as it's mentioned after Warwick's rework that her lore is going to be updated in the near future as well (My guess; she was a human-goat-esque vastaya that came in contact with celestial magicks) MonkeyKing Is possible as well, as the Plague Jungles he originally comes from are non-canon I believe, and his close relationship with Ionia and Ahri make it more plausible Now the special cases here are Nidalee, Alistar andZyra.

Nidalee is a HUGE possibility that I'm hoping is true, as Eduard's interaction with that "transforming pig man" Shai gives us a strangely specific detail that people who are only partially vastayan are capable of shapeshifting into a more beastial form. This fits almost perfectly with Nidalee, and I would be pretty surprised if she wasn't included as her current lore is pretty outdated.

Alistar is also a small possibility, though I somewhat doubt it. Minotaurs are already confirmed to exist somewhere near Piltover during that whole event, and they mostly live in a small place called "Krexor," near Piltover yet completely surrounded by Noxian territories. This fits nicely with Alistar's current lore as a minotaur that was taken by Noxians as a gladiator, though at the same time he just doesn't fit as well with the more jungle and Ionian based Champions in the crowd, and it seems more like Minotaurs are a species of their own as there's no mention of them in Eduard's log (note: Eduard is from Piltover, and it's pretty obvious that Pilties already know what Minotaurs are as they are mentioned on their maps).

And lastly, Zyra. She is a very key part of the Kumungu jungles (though very old and outdated, it's actually confirmed canon by Ivern, as he mentions some kind of "Kumungu affair" involving Red Bramblebacks, I'm guessing some kind of PETA-esque protest or something), and it seems kind of strange to just update Nidalee and leave Zyra in the dust as both come from the same (albeit, outdated) place of origin. I'm thinking that they can easily fit her somewhat in the vastayan crowd, perhaps as a more plant-based vastayan or maybe just a species of her own. As much as I'd like to see her lore get updated, she doesn't seem too likely either. Who knows though, we'll just have to wait and see.

EDIT: Had an idea; Alistar maybe considered a distant relative of the Vatsaya, or maybe just a type of Vatsaya that just so happen to be Minotaurs and live far away from Ionia. This may also apply to Volibear, with Ursine instead of Minotaurs.

I'm having so much fun here watching everyone try to figure out who's vastaya and who isn't.

Alistar and Volibear I don't think will be, Ursine seem native to Freljord and seem to have existed for a while also they dont really have any human defining characteristics to the same extent Ahri and Wukong have them, also they are notably larger than any that have been shown so far. As Ionia is an island nation it's unlikely that Vastaya have managed to migrate they seem to want to stay native.
