Did Kayle really need a full VU on her base skin?

She didn't seem ugly or in deep need of a makeover, more of a slight cleanup on models and stuff. A lot of her skins I can get behind needing an update and holy shit are they sweet, but her base skin and model have a design that can be tweaked and not be reduced into a God King foot soldier from that VS event trailer cept with 6 small wings. Plus her sword went from a godly esc looking broadsword to a prison shank made from dawnbringer which is kinda lackluster imo. To me old Kayle looks better than new Kayle since old Kayle has a shiton of armor and looks like a knight with bigass wings while the other kayle just kinda looks like someone that would get straight buttfucked by a Q.
