So with Evelynn released we have a new demon to join League's ranks along side Tahm. The two even share a lore connection which I appreciate. One thing I noticed is that we seem to have groups of champions that follow similar themes with each other. We have Aatrox and Rhaast, and Varus's corruption who represent the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. War, Death, and Pestilence respectively (Make a Darkin Varus Legendary skin pls). Now though we have a new theme in demon characters representing the Seven Deadly Sins.

Eve takes on lust obviously. Tahm fills the role of Gluttony, filling people's lives with food, and decadence before taking it all away.

As Riot nuked the old lore, there are still lots of champions that now don't have any lore behind them at all, so here are some theories as to who fill some of the other roles.

Nocturne would probably be wrath, a angry wraith that seeks only to kill and snuff out life for seemingly no reason, outside being driven only by its own hate and anger. Shaco fills the role of Pride. Mocking people who think they're so great and purposely angering them, only to show exactly how small and pathetic they really are.

Stop with the seven deadly sins nonsense, it has no actual bearing on any of the "demons" besides perhaps Evelynn. The Darkin-four horseman connection is weak to.

I don't think Tahm Kench actually eats anything, remember he doesn't even hold a consistent form. He feeds on suffering, so he bestows gifts upon people who he knows will lose them, like the gambler. He lets people succeed so he can take it all away and revel in the suffering.

Nocturne and Evelynn seem to be much more malevolent spirits taking an active interest in torturing/killing humans than Tahm does.

as I've said before the seven deadly sins are just categories for sins that some bishop came up with back in like the 15th century or something, they aren't incredibly crimes in Christianity.

Nocturne is much more based on fear, the being in that short story featuring Lux and Garen is heavily implied to be nocturne, and in the story he inspired madness and fear in people.

We have nothing to go off of on Shaco as he is one of Riot's least fleshed out characters

Shacos new short lore actually says that he is a puppet animated by magic,so even though they call him the demon jester,he isn't actually a demon.Its just a title.

Also there is beatrice,who is seemingly a demon of secrets.

Overall I wouldn't count on there being only 7 demons for the 7 deadly sins(or 8 for the 8 evil thoughts?),demons will likely be about sins and evil thoughts in general(which will include the deadly sins eventually,but won't be limited to them)

If one had to fill the role of anger, it would have to be Shaco , there aren't many things as infuriating as a good Shaco to face

and now we also have what's left of Swain's Demon, now replacing swain's arm, i also thought there was something in the 7 deadly sins but a character such as nocturne or swain's demon doesn't really fit all that well.
