Randomly kicked from Champion Select

I'll be organizing for champion select, then suddenly I get a pop up that says "Group disbanded" and the game doesn't put me back into the queue automatically. So when I go to do so manually, it says "You have recently abandoned a game." WTF is going on because this has happened twice today alone, and it's been happening at least once a day since the last patch.
