Talon Question

How will Talon's past affect his ability to perform in possible hypothetical relationships with other people etc etc? For example, let's say something between Talon and Quinn gets on in the near future, will his past actions affect his relationship? For instance, he has killed a lot of people in his career and continues to but I am more particularly concerned about something that "may" haunt him time from time and that is the murder of Kavyn. Now Kavyn was very close to him, a very close friend and he was backstabbed. So my question is, will he be haunted by Kavyn's murder throughout his life since it was borderline "murder" or will he forget it and move on? Can he get into a relationship with another person without his past preventing him to? Because let's face it, the last person that was close to him in a relationship was Kavyn and he was backstabbed and killed simply because he was deemed "weak and a liability." What is preventing Talon to adopt this very same ideology on future relationships with people he has? Like lets say a relationship with Quinn? It seems scary on paper. But then again this is all hypothetical, they are more based on IF it happens.

Talon is of the Noxian mindset that the strong survive and the weak perish. Kavyn was weak in Talon's eyes, and moreover was dragging Talon down with him in their struggle to survive. Talon therefore saw nothing wrong with killing him and probably doesn't even remember Kavyn's name nowadays.

That kind of callous disregard might affect Talon's future relationships, but I'd be willing to bet that Talon would never enter a romantic relationship with anyone that he doesn't consider to be his equal in strength.

So he is proud of what he did to his friend? And what if he went down in a relationship with Quinn? Will what he did to his buddy in the past affect how things go down in his future relationship?

I don't think pride even factors into it. He did what he did because he felt he had to, and he felt he was justified in what he did. Like I said above, he probably doesn't even remember Kavyn's name. It wasn't a momentous occasion beyond the fact that it was his first kill.

The fact that Talon killed people - even people he trusted - would be the deciding factor in a hypothetical Quinn/Talon relationship. Quinn has killed to defend her people, while Talon killed because he enjoyed it and was paid to do so. That would be enough to cause strife between the two. Kavyn doesn't even have to come into it.

So they both are equal in strength yet they may have strife. I wonder if those strifes can be avoided in any way or ignored.

If you're specifically asking if Quinn and Talon would work in canon, my answer is no. Demacia and Noxus have very different cultural norms and values, which almost assuredly precludes any attempt at a relationship - even if the two were somehow able to meet without trying to murder each other.

Crackship all you want though, mate - I ain't about to judge :P

it's a fictional world, anything could happen. You are right about the city state values but those values not necessarily apply to people. For example, country A could be at war with country B but that doesn't mean all the people in those countries will hate and kill people of other countries. Surely there will be open minded people.

In canon it would probably never work. And there ate plenty of reasons: they are members of nations in war with each other, they probably less likely to meet, cause Talon works in cities and Quinn in countryside atleast. And they have different mindsets: one is scout and other is paid killer; one is city boy and other is free bird.

But why would reality keep you from shipping? :) it's not canon, and very likely to not be, but you do you
