Garen's New Lore Doesn't Mention Taric?

When Taric got reworked about a year ago, I loved his lore. The idea that he came from Demacia, only to be banished to climb Targon was really interesting to me. One thing I had kinda wanted to see more of was his relationship with Garen. Taric's lore claims that the two were close, and that Garen saw Taric's potential to be a great leader. I was hoping to maybe see this a bit more from Garen's view if his lore ever got reworked. Now that's happened, but there's not even a mention of Taric. No indication that the two ever worked together or anything. I know Taric got banished and all, but does Garen just not acknowledge Taric as existing anymore? Or is this just an inconsistency within the lore as a whole? I don't know, maybe I'm looking too much into it, but I'm just a bit upset there is no mention of Taric within Garen's lore.

No change to Garen and Taric. That relationship definitely exists, don't worry about that.

When we're doing bios we have to strip them down to the core essentials as much as we can, mainly if we told their whole story, well, that's their story done (plus a 10 page bio might get unwieldy).

I expect there wasn't a Taric reference simply because there wasn't space. Garen's bio set up his interaction with Demacia as the country, personal friendship with the crown prince, personal qualities, discomfort with magic combined with his sister, and relationship with Lux. His color text gives an example of his personality, a keen mind, shows his willingness to sacrifice for his comrades and even strangers, and more Runterra world building. The longer piece with Lux has no room either. Short stories need to be concise, sticking extra fluff in is a major distraction.

On the other hand, I'd love to see a Taric - Garen story. My guess is that Taric was a member of the Dauntless Vanguard previously, and you could even place him as the young man Garen saves from the hag.
