I noticed a neat tidbit on the PBE today.
There's a little lore-esque blurb on Electrocute now.
It's odd that we called them the "Thunderlords" when what they were known for was their lightning.
While it's obviously a nod to the current Thunderlord's Decree, it's still a very neat touch that makes me wonder about the world of League. What the hell were the Thunderlords and what sort of magic is this we're using in the Mastery? Is the blue colored version we use now also canon? If so, what's the difference?
I looked at the rest and, sadly, no other blurbs. But I think it would be AWESOME if each keystone had one.
I've always looked at things like this in other games, like talents in WoW for example, and always wondered why they didn't have little flavor text on them that really helped connect the ability/talent to the game's lore and thematic. This is really cool, and I'd love to see more things like it, even on items. Makes everything feel so thematic and unique to the game.
EDIT: I lied, I see a blurb on the Truimph non-keystone rune as well.
Did you want me to read all the runes again even though I have them memorized, Riot? Because now you've done it.
