So first of all, a friend of mine told me there is another leak in the rengar subreddit. So i was curious and saw the entire list. At first i was skeptic but the thing i notice is that it has some the same skin line in the previous leak. There is a 50/50 chance that it has some connections and at the same time real. And not even a rioter confirmed its false so there's a chance that it might be real. But i don't encourage leaks.

There's no way Riot would give Swain a nidalee/elise transformation imo.

but there is a way cause its riot(the developer) and how can you say that? riot can do whatever they want to their characters imo and making swain a nida/elise makes more skills and counter plays like a tactician :D

I read some where that they don't ever want make a champion that has two forms as an ult like Jayce/Nidalee/Elise because of the balance nightmares. All three have terrorized the meta at one point.

If the transformation had a cost they may do it. Current transforms have no cost. Just rarely a small cd

Like Mr Steal explains, Riot have expressed that dual form Champions are pretty difficult to balance. If you notice, the last two Champions with transformations (Kayn and Gnar) are very different types of transformations. Even Gnar has had his balance issues from time to time, and that's with little control over when Mega form comes out. I doubt they'll take this direction with Swain without some pretty big changes to how his transformation works.

I'm not saying there is literally no way without any doubt that Riot would do that and this is a fact.

I said I don't think there is any way Riot would do that because R swappers have been balance nightmares and their swaps aren't usually very interesting.

Having more skills is not at all like a tactician. A tactician could have multiple skills but I don't see why you think that would think having more skills makes the champion more thoughtful.

No sense for Riot to do anything at all to him, at least not something this drastic, after announcing a full VGU remake that's would supersede any changes made now.

Plus Swain never had alternate abilities, so a toggleable ult makes no sense. His raven form is an 'aura' thing, basically just an AOE lifesteal mechanic with a raven visual on top, not like the alternate movesets of Nidalee or Elise.

I'm assuming the leak meant that his VGU would include this new mechanic and not have the mechanic introduced earlier.

It may be, but it's so early in VGU dev time for Swain, it's a bit meaningless. I mean, even Reav3 said that they're still debating how old Swain is suppose to be.

A lot of things are not going to be set-in-stone even if they had discussed a point like that at this stage. Pretty sure right now it's more like brainstorming, and sieving through the suggestions for the most interesting ones as a starting point.

I'm not trusting a single one of these leaks till Riot ether confirms them or the more likely scenario if they are real, where the leaks start coming true. With this one I honestly can't trust that they already have a solid plan for Swain yet and I REALLY don't think that champ sounds likely. The one from the previous leak sounded more likely and it even had some weird mechanic that gave control of him to an ally. I would also say that it would be a bit ridiculous for them to start adding rework skins for Eve with all those skins she already has instead of Yorick, who only had the two and would have been MUCH easier to make a new one for. So until we get some confirmation that these things are real, I'm holding on to the belief that they are all fake.

but bro they didn't(yet) speak if its true or not like the last leak(the leak with cosmic yi) but if its false they should've told us thata its not true like they did with the nayuta leak. But i won't say that i believe in this leaks to unless they are proven one by one per patch like the last leak so i'm a bit skeptic.

The one with swain is, i think 50/50 too cause not too long ago, riot unintentionally leak stuff like in march they have leak urgots model which is 4 months before his reveal same with eve's texture. And in those old leaks, which came true, has 4 months difference between urgots reveal then it came true and i think the same with eve.

Lastly, i think eve's model has less VFX. that's why a skin for her is easier to make unlike yorick with his ghouls. Look at fiora, 1 month after her VGU, she received a skin(project) so its not impossible :D

But who am I to tell, i may be right or wrong... till the time will tell and i respect your opinion too bro so its nothing wrong.

I think the reason Riot can't confirm this leak is fake like they did with the Nayuta one is because at least part of it is real (Championship Twitch). The Twitch skin is basically confirmed at this point due to Fatrat's collaboration with Riot. However that does not mean the rest of the "leak" is necessarily true; the person who made this leak probably just put CS Twitch there to make the whole thing seem more believable.

Not gonna rule it out entirely of course; hell I can't wait to see if PROJECT Quinn is real (and hope it's a legendary if it is).

The pland of Swain is very straight now, because someone thought about the idea long before they start producing. There are now 5 Champs in work , but also 5 others with ideas and concepts. When a champion is in "hard work-process" it is very unlikely they change the Base idea. Sure some arts , spells but the concept of a champion is very similar to the first thought

That's not how it works. When they say "Swain is next on our VGU list" they've probably done some early exploration and that's it. Deciding to commit to a Champion is when the work begins in earnest, because there's no point getting started on design work unless they are sure Swain is the one they want to do next.

Edit: just for comparison, we heard about shot-gun knees a couple of months before we got Urgot. They probably already had the idea nailed down by then. At a similar time, we also got a leaked Urgot model, again indicating they were pretty far into the project and had most things nailed down. We're not supposed to get Swain until next year.

sure, but they will not change the idea of giving him 2 forms after he is in a professional where he can't be cancel anymore. Sure I am not somebody from Riot, but I tHinksey that Riot will not but something in the final process pipe when there is no blueprint of Story , art and Gameplay that works . But all in all the leak sounds quite not realistic, because Azir.

And I'm saying I don't think Swain's development is that far in. The very act of placing something in the pipeline is to start work on it. No work or very little work is done before then. Any work done is all on paper, things like brainstorming and narrowing down goals. Or deciding what project should be the next focus.

That's not even mentioning that Riot has stated they likely will never do another transform Champion like Nid, etc, because they tend to be difficult to balance. Kayn is an example of this design philosophy: he's a transform Champion, but functions very differently from a traditional transformation. Same with Gnar, and even he presents some similar design issues as Nid and co.

Not necessarily, Riot did tease an art piece for Swain's VGU in a recent roadmap article which means he may very well be well along in his development with a solid kit concept in testing right now.

Fair enough, you may be right, but concept art isn't unrealistic to expect at this point, especially since I don't think they will drastically change Swain's design. I don't know, I just feel the timing is fishy here.

I was thinking that, too. That doesn't seem faithful to Azir's playstyle at all. Azir needs fine tuned control over his soldiers. They aren't crazed Void creatures, but extensions of his abilities. I'd compare them more to the Ball with Orianna than to Malz's Voidlings.

Not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if Riot wanted to give Evelynn a skin with actual particle effects for her rework, something above 750 RP since she doesn't have many high quality skins and she's a fairly popular champion.

This leak is actually wrong , first the skins are very unrealistic and 2. Azir Rework will be release in 7.19 so in 3 weeks.

i don't know if its fake or not. But we need more patches to decide if its fake. In the case of azir, i think the OP of that post meant to say the early process of azir and not the whole getup whilst he didn't even indicate the release date. We didn't even know what time he saw those projects. so maybe he/she just saw the early production of azir?? But don't get me wrong cause i don't support the OP of these leaks. I'm just critiquing it :D

it was 2 days ago thar meddler confirmed the idealisation that Reav3 names in July worked well and be on the PBE in 3 weeks when the last test that will hit PBE in the next week work well.

... i said that it was in the early stages when the OP saw(maybe) the process of azir and just spouting it until now. that's why he/she included the early development part. So that when the final product is diff from the said leak, it will be not affected that much.

yeah you are right ^^ but the leaker knew that Swain is the next one. So it will be after the July Roadmap, but in this post they also mentioned that they want to change Azir's E and his multifunctional. So he wrote the leak after it was clear that the direction of Azir was panned Sry that I wrote it bad, sure we can w8, maybe it is true, but in my opinion. Sure I can say nothing about the skins , the Evelynn Rework, but the Azir one seems very strange and very far away of statements that Rioters already post.

Can you not state your opinion like its a fact. Skins being unrealistic does not invalidate the leak and Azir's rework could very easily shift around.

on skins you see right , there are no big information that says that it is true or not
Azir Rework is close to finish the final release should be on PBE in 3 weeks and the last tests in the next days now the PBE. They never talked about changing the soldiers. The two ways they explored were : less mobility or less range.

Sry that it sounds so hard, but I don't think they will put up changes that they never named in the last 2 roadmaps ,when they mentioned Azir , before .
