I feel a LOT better about Galio after having seen the splash art.
I don't claim to be a Galio main, but he's certainly one of my favorite champions (Especially in ARAM, I prefer him over anyone else in ARAM). I was a little off put by his redesign, which didn't seem to be gargoyle-esque.
His splash art, though, does a lot better to make him seem like League's Gargoyle Paladin. The teeth on his lower jaw are much more pronounced, his wings are flapping instead of fixed, and you can clearly see his bird-like legs and tail.
My only concern now is how they'll factor in the rivalry with Sion. Galio is now a huge colossus; how does Sion match up against that?
