This would be actually merciful, lucian will never reunite with his family, unless tresh sends him straight to hell.
So lucian should give up and let tresh rip him in half with his hook so he can finally have peace.

If Thresh kills Lucian, he wouldnt have peace, at all... Thresh would torture his soul after death, forever, driving him insane and with no way of fighting back. Hell would be a nice place in comparison.
