NEXT EVENT: The Invasion of Bandle City

"During Thunderdome, many many projects were teased and shown off, some being simple tests and experiments, and some being full-fledged event/map ideas. Butcher's Bridge was one of the latter, as has already been stated by Riot, and we even saw glimpses of concept art and in-game work of it in clips from Thunderdome. Who's to say there aren't other projects that were taken from Thunderdome to be used in the future?

In this screenshot (credit to /u/Dankaw for linking in an imgur album in a thread from two days ago), we see what appear to be plans and concept work for a Bandle City vs. Noxus event, along with what looks to be a Teemo rework/redesign and what could be a new Yordle champion.

Nothing from Thunderdome is absolutely guaranteed to come to fruition, but seeing how Butcher's Bridge is very nearly upon us, we may be seeing The Invasion of Bandle City in the next few years."

The idea of this event excites me, what do you guys think? Will we also see this Thunderdome project as a official release? Keep in mind, Howling Abyss and Butchers Bridge maps came out of this event, so there is a slight possibility of this becoming a reality.

The prospect of a Bandle City event is very pleasing to me, however:

Just popping in here to say that those pictures are of the Thunderdome version of the Bilgewater ARAM map. This was a couple years ago, Kalista did not exist when those pictures were taken.

Now why do I bring this up? Mainly because that Thunderdome stuff was from a couple of years ago, and stuff can change, be cancelled, delayed or whatever (Magma Chamber, Replays and Ao Shin come to mind) so while I would LOVE a Bandle City event, we should temper our enthusiasm and not draw too much from a single shot of an event from atleast two years ago.

TL:DR but i heard its just map reskins for a little while.. hope its more then that.. like fucking invasions and shit lel or a horde mode c:

A lot can change, but I see art assets that are currently in use (mainly the Noxian crest), and I also see the new Bandle City crest (a Yordle paw print).
