Hereditary of these Creatures

Do these new bird champs have any genealogical/biological relationship with birds like Valor etc etc? You know how the great Apes are common descendant to Humans, so what about these new creatures, do they and valor have a common similar descendant too? In simple, are they related in some way shape or form?
