He uploaded a video an hour ago talking about Maokai VU, and, at minute nine you can see in his desktop an Ahri folder with some photoshop files inside.

Can we maybe have some last hope of get a decent Ahri splash art? Or nothing is going to change? Only the future will tell us...

Edit: Ok, seems like he isn't working on the new Ahri splash art, thanks IronStylus for the clarification.

Whle it would be awesome, I don't believe we will get a completely new splashart. They invested a lot of time on the one currently on the PBE, even completely redrawing the face, and while they might know that they didn't exactly deliver quality on it, they will most likely let it go live anyway simply because everything else would be a waste of money...

I don't expect things will change so much too but I hope they will try to, at least, make her face a bit more close to the original :\

Does the ":P" mean this is a joke and I'm just not getting it? Because if you're being serious, this...is very sad news to hear. Especially considering we can see the AHRI folder on his desktop.

Also I guess you're already aware that a lot of people still think the face need a little more tweaks, so I hope you guys do them before the patch goes live next week :)

Last edit I saw to it on s@20 was and improvement, it looked less like a generic female face and more like the Ahri we know from the previous splash. I don't think it's quite there yet, the expression was a bit too vacant or something, but it seems to be heading in the right direction.

They still can change it through, in the past a lot of splash arts that were already in the PBE got tweaked.

Actually they took it off the PBE a while back and brought it back with a lot of tweaks to it already. I'm pretty sure this is what we're getting.

Looking at his previous work with splash arts, this doesn't look anything like them. I also wouldn't think after doing multiple Ahri splashes he would make one that doesn't even look like the champion.
