Kayle & Morgana: Gods Or Nah?

Yes, I know in lore, they're not really gods, just the daughters of the Aspect of Justice. However, my question is that, in the eyes of Demacia, are they viewed as gods, or simply powerful cultural heroes?

From what I've been able to discover when it comes to Demacia and their faith, it's safe to say that they do worship the Aspects/Celestials whatever you wanna call them, as they have the "Crown of Stone" where an exiled or dishonored Demacian is sentenced to climbing Mount Targon as a form of redemption. They probably don't worship them to the same extent Targonians do, though. Secondly, the Illuminators, a quasi-religious order in Demacia, is possibly founded on the beliefs of the original followers of Kayle, who is known to be the daughter of an Aspect.

There really isn't much stated in the lore to help me answer my question. The only thing I have to go on is that Morgana has largely been forgotten by the populace of Demacia, which leads me to believe they're viewed more as cultural heroes, as even though she is vilified, I doubt she would be so easily forgotten if they were worshipped or viewed as gods.

I definitely think Kayle receives some form of worship in Demacia. She's light-magic themed, which matches the Illuminators, like you mentioned.

I'm interested in Morgana as a cultural figure for Sylas' Mage Revolution, too. The breaking of chains, rebellion against an oppressive "light", and the idea that your "curse" is not really a curse, but a gift? I think she'd make a perfect symbol for his ideals. Certainly not worshiped in public, but maybe amongst his followers.
