For those who don't know, Jhin's colour text was delayed but will be out soon

WAAARGHbobo elaborated yesterday that the colour text for Jhin is ready, but localisation issues have delayed it a tad:

Given this the soonest we'll probably see Jhin's short story is likely next monday unless they decide a weekend release is fine, but either way it's looking like we'll see the story next week barring any further issues.

Given Shen's has ties with Jhin his character bio and colour text were likely also put back as a result, so we may see that come around next week too depending on circumstances, however I don't know if there are any issues with Shen's lore specifically so just take that with a grain of salt.

**TL;DR: Jhin's colour text (short story) was delayed due to localisation but is on track to be released soon, probably next week barring a catastrophe. **

Thank you for updating us with this post. Sadly, folks will still continue to make "Jhin lore where????" posts.

I'm wondering/hoping then if the teaser champions' info pages will be restored when the extra lore's released, too. Kinda bothers me they're still up.

Still waiting for those Shurima champ bios,

And that Singed update.

Well Targon is literally on the way out the door as we speak so it's only a matter of time for the Shurima lore.

IDK about Singed. Riot's been pretty bad about him in many ways, not just lore.

Taric probably going to be next patch it seems, assuming that our Taric is targonian theories are correct.

Sharjo1 votes

Eh well not this current testing cycle, but maybe the next. I can definetly see that.

Yeah, next testing cycle, not next patch lol. It's pretty exciting honestly, years have been waited for the Taric rework. It'll be interesting to see how they handle Taric's character, seeing as it is such big meme in the league community.

Didn't you heard the news? everybody bullied me for saying shurima lore is a thing, you should not say this loud

Sod that, I refuse to give in to pessimism even if things are fucked up. I will look FORWARD DAMMIT. And what is FORWARD is TARGON and SHURIMA.

It was so freaking ridiculous, they forgot about something and now is my fault, it was a sad day...

It's been two years past the promised Shurima lore due date. It's not happening.

Sharjo2 votes

It hasn't been two years. It's been a year and a half. Get your facts straight.

And it will happen. So sod off with that attitude.

Baron Von Bangin1 votes

Oh sorry!

NEARLY two years.

Doesn't matter if "it will happen." They boys and girls at Riot lied. Plain and simple.

Think what you want, I really don't care. I'll be over here all happy when that Shurima lore gets released, while you'll just be here, sad and dejected.

Also lying about something being released and them literally telling us shit broke and they couldn't release stuff is entirely different. Shit happens. Riot didn't lie. They told us the plan and it didn't pan out, so they've switched gears and are working on it. That much is clear.

Baron Von Bangin1 votes

Oh? Is the technology still broken? Nope. The fact that they can't release champion bios in a timely manner is nothing short of pathetic. The fact that Singed hasn't had his lore fixed for YEARS despite even Morello recognizing how bad that is. What a disgrace.

I won't be sad. Riot will just continue to live up to my extremely low opinion of them. Unfortunately I've invest so much time and emotion into their IP I still cling to memories of the "good old days" and an ireartional part of me thinks they'll get their act together.

But like I said, I'm not holding my breath. Riot us a sad corporate she'll of what it used to be.

Sharjo2 votes

I'm sorry but I have to because it'll pain me too much if I don;t

Riot us a sad corporate she'll of what it used to be.

"Riot is a sad corporate shell of what it used to be."

Again, sorry, but that stuck out too much to not mention.

Phone auto correct. But whatever.
