All joking aside about Aatrox and how Galio's a forgotten champion...I'm gonna be incredibly upset if he doesn't retain some of his gargoyle appearance.Kit changes I could live with,but if that's a 100% representation of what his new appearance is going to look like this isn't going to sit well with me.It looks far too much like some generic Paladin/Paragon of justice design.
Hoping it's just initial shock,but I have a bad feeling about this.Didn't they say they were going to stop with changing iconic things about a champion(Karma's fans come to mind).Galio's most recognizable aspects would be that he looks like a gargoyle,a well known type of stone creature meant to guard places which I suppose isn't much different from the golem type thing we see in the teaser.But If he's been changed to some paladin inspired golem just because someone on the art team didn't like Gargoyles,this is probably gonna be the final straw on whether or not I continue to buy skins in this game.
I bought the enchanted Galio skin a few years back because I like gargoyles and I enjoyed Galio's character.Never got to play him much on the rift but I enjoyed getting to play him in aram whenever he pops up.But if they go through with such a massive appearance change without regards to his current playerbase then I will be far less certain other skins I own,or buy in the future won't be affected.
I'm just hoping this is some "idealized" representation of Galio,and looks much different from what he actually is since it might unsettle the demacian population.In that he's actually some type of night creature,albeit one that is honorbound to protect demacia and it's citizens or something along those lines...but not holding my breath.

I'm stoked for this. I really like Galio's concept and most of his kit. Hope they make him lots of fun.
