Question about Lore & Old Journals

Where would I find a fleshed out existence of Riot's lore for its champions and regional areas? (If it exists). I've read a recent post of someone commenting about the lack of cohesive lore in the game, so my hopes that there IS a positive answer to my question is dwindling. Back forever ago, there used to be journals filled out like a newspaper about lore-related things and I don't remember how to find those. I don't think they're done anymore and I don't even remember when they started or stopped... I've been playing since before ranked was around.

Tad related, I'm (slowly) making a Minecraft world editted map of Valoran and this is what sparked my interest in learning more about the lore. I'm focusing on Ionia right now in the building process, but am also learning worldedit while I go haha. I've been interested in the lore since I started playing, but I never gave it exclusive attention, and I want to do that right now.
