I really really like this, as it fits in with my theory that The Void isn't just an alternate reality parked beside Runeterra's, but the two are actually bleeding into one another, the natural laws that apply to one are beginning to overlap with it's counterpart, creating an entirely new environment and creatures to populate it.
Like the Voidborn themselves may be entirely different within the Void, but by entering Runeterra they submit themselves to new rules native to that particular reality and manifest as the creatures we know today.
Void looking more and more like Phazon mutagen with all these new critters.
