Which champions are getting Star Guardian skins this year?

Just so you remember each guardian has a different colour theme connected to their main character traits. Pink- the leader Red- the leaders most trusted ally Purple- the mysterious one with a lot of knowledge and a shadowy past Green- the youngest, still learning about their abilities Blue- Idk honestly Poppy and Ez are complete opposites. I honestly think that the purple skin will go to Sona, the blue one to Leona, the red to Taric, I have no idea for the leader. We know for sure Taliyah isn't getting any other skin except SSG this year which I consider a big waste since the green skin would be perfect for her. What do you guys think?

We actually don't know if we get any Starguardian skins this year at all. However, IF it turns out that we get some, then my picks correlating to your colour themes would look like this:

Caitlyn Pink Highly responsible class president and leader of her Starguardian team.

Red Caitlyns closest friend, nobody understands why the class president is always hanging out with this trouble maker. She worries about Caitlyn, since she has so much responsibility and tries to make Caitlyn enjoy her school life and youth more.

Orianna Purple I know she seems like an oddball (badum-ts), but hear me out. Orianna is a Starguardian veteran who already served in another team. Some day, her team got killed and Orianna herself was at the border of death. However, the first star herself was able to save her in the last moment, by granting her a new artificial magical body.

Tristana Green The newbie, just joined the squad and is having a blast. And we could use another cute Yordle Starguardian.

Quinn Blue Kinda a lone wolf, the only one she truly counts on is her familiar Valor. Enjoys flying through the sky with Valor, just like Ezreal. Could imagine a nice scene between her and Ezreal, in which he teaches her something about the importance of team work.

Make Vi purple. Dress her up like Jotaro. Make her star guardian thing a stand that hovers near/over her body to keep the punchy sillouette with the big fists. Have her strike poses every auto attack while the 'stand' does the usual fisty movements.

You imply that the one getting the legendary has to be the leader. Jinx isn't the leader of her team, she still got a legendary Starguardian skin, so it might be possible to give it to another champion.

Orianna or Quinn could get the legendary instead.

Someone was asking if Taliyah can get a new skin even after SAG, since it is a worlds skin. The exact answer was:

Yes, she can - but as of right now there isn't one planned (but we go into planning for next year shortly).

Further it got stated that they didn't plan all skins for 2018 already, but that they got the "big beats" planned. Starguardians definitely should belong into the big beats.

No matter how I look at it, I can't take it in another way than a direct confirmation that she won't get a Starguardian skin this year. I understand that people want it to happen, since she fits in really well, but at this point I think people are just reaching for straws.

It's been nearly 900 days since Sona got a new skin , i know she has many of them but few of them are not always available. and she can make a pretty cute Star guardian.

I'd be surprised if they didn't make Star Guardian Sona, eventually. The main challenge there would likely be finding a way to distinguish her enough from Heartseeker Sona -- but her feminine grace combined with the etwahl's potential to be turned into a familiar would make for an awesome SG skin imo.

Agreed. color combination for Sona is going to be challenging as well. i was thinking maybe she can have her Original Blue mixed with Gold , but most champions dont keep their original colors. even if she does it wouldn't look unique, considering she already has another blue-themed skin.not to mention that would just look bad!

on the other hand im hoping for something completely different for her. something unique she never had before. most of her skins are "cutesy" as one might call them. aside from her Pentakill. so i wouldn't mind seeing something new.

Green is actually the one most connected to the First Star.

And Blue is the lancer the person who acts as an opposite to their leader.

Whereas Lux is happy but nervous and unsure of herself, Poppy is serious and weirdly stern but more confident.

Ahri is cynical and world weary while Ez is happy go lucky and naive. He is also the youngest star guardian on his team.

Again: it got said that Riot has currently no plans for another skin for Taliyah in this year. So the chances for Taliyah to get a Starguardian skin this year are extremely slim.

I don't know what color he'd be, but Olaf is a prime candidate. He's already not wearing pants, and a skirt isn't too far off from what he's got currently. Just give him some star-shaped axes and we're good to go! If you really wanna get crazy, he can be the first plaid star-guardian.

We would probably have to wait another year since the Pajama Star Guardian Skins just came out. But we know Ahri has a dark past, in her intro vid she is holding 3 other broken star fragments, possibly her past team mates and we also know Janna is the oldest member on Lux's team and when they meet Ahri's team she immediately didn't feel gud as if she was familiar with them, possibly Janna and Ahri were past team mates but after an unfortunate tragedy they went their separate ways. Perhaps the missing star guardians could still be alive trapped in another dimension from which the corrupted void monsters spawn. So I hypothesize that there will likely be 3 more Star Guardians added, which would be enough since the skin line already has a lot. And likely bet it'll include Zoe (b/c she's an aspect of the twilight), Sona, and possibly any other acceptable option.
