Bard, Soraka, the Watchers and various celestial powers

Bard reinforces a hunch I've had that Riot is building a **holistic celestial mythology **that stretches across Valoran and it's cultures. I'd bet **the Watchers **are creatures of the same realm as Bard, as was **Soraka **before becoming a mortal. There's a common aesthetic between the celestial spell-effects, weird horns, bizarre anatomy and occasionally getting involved with mortals.

The Shuriman **Sun Disc **and Targon's **Solari/Lunari **also play into the same theme in other ways.

Soraka once lived in an enchanted grove, so maybe the nature-spirit-theme is related to the celestial mythology-theme. At the very least Soraka and Bard seem to have striking thematic similarities.

**The Meeps **also remind one of Pix, Lulu and the Glade. Going even further on the conjectural course one could imagine the old Shadow Isles, where Maokai was a nature spirit, could once have be related to the other nature-spirit-themes.

There's also obvious similarities between Jax and Bard, as other's have pointed out. I don't know what the connection might be, though; doesn't really add anything to the theories above.

But further, adding even more conjecture, these celestial characters might turn out to be an anti-thesis to the Void, being **Celestial **in nature and all. I can imagine one could find a decent amount of thematic elements to support that theory.
