In Quinn's lore, she kills those Noxian soldiers that steal some sigil so my question is, if the soldiers complied and handed over her the stolen sigil, would she have spared them?

I doubt it. It's too dangerous to let them live given that they may well have memorised the intelligence they had collected, and Quinn and Valor alone don't have the resources to safely keep five prisoners for the trip back to civilised land. I don't think Quinn is the sort to kill people just out of principle, but in that specific situation it would be the most logical choice.

Oh hell no. Old lore Kat would consider it a personal challenge to kill the fifth guy before the first guy's corpse has hit the ground. Kat would kill the soldiers because its fun, while I think Quinn and Valor would kill them because it's efficient.

What's Kat's selection quote again? "Violence solves everything." When Kat's lore update happens, I expect she'll become more of amorally grey character, but right now she is a zealous psychopathic murder machine driven by her own ambition. Those Demacian soldiers are deader than cigar memes.

Is Kat considered evil in terms of alignment?

Lawful Evil I'd say for the most part (Garen throws some complications in that)

Your opinion is just as valid as any other. I avoid using "evil" vs "good" alignments myself, for I consider them a puerile and imprecise way of tracking a character's motivations. Katarina certainly doesn't mind killing people (she's an assassin by choice) and has no shame in enjoying it. Some might say this makes her evil.

Old Noxus was basically an evil empire with the writers trying very hard to say "No look guys they're not all evil, see? Complexity!" When they write something as trite as Kat wanting to do the no pants dance with Garen.

But yeah. She was evil by any rational understanding of the word.
