What did you guys do to Masquerade Evelynn?

She lost her pale skin, her red hair became orange and you guys turned her sexy almost classy outfit into a gaudy costume. Definitely a downgrade in style.

She was cold and deadly before, almost ethereal, but now she's just another girl in dress up.

Edit: copying my response to a couple of people to clarify some things-

Old Mask Eve was a classy dominatrix, someone for a "private engagement". New Mask Eve is a flashy Buenos Aries Carnival Dancer. Not the same. I bought the skin for the former fantasy costume not this new party girl.

I was mostly exaggerating to try and get my point across since its a lot of subtle changes that amount to very different feel for me.

edit2: I figured out how to phrase it. **She doesn't feel/look like a vampire anymore. She looks like the human she was before being turned. She doesn't feel dangerous. **

Um. A masquerade is, by definition, a costumed ball. Those costumes are supposed to be elegant, but they must also have an air of extravagance, as masquerades were thrown by wealthy people to show off their wealth, and guests were expected to show off their wealth in their costumes, hence the unnecessary adornments and the sometimes gaudy colour schemes meant to draw the eye. In a masquerade, people competed for attention, to be the belle of the ball, and their costumes were their main tool to do this.

I really like the new Masquerade Evelynn, mainly because they turned that almost neon purple into a more realistic-looking deep violet, and added the gold trims and spikes that actually represent the "wealthy exuberance" part of the masquerade concept.

I would've appreciated a darker hair, yes. That's the only thing I agree with. The new skin tone looks a lot more natural and cements this skin as realistic and human-like, and opens up future skin ideas to diverge more from the human ideal.

Ehr, because she in that skin IS a girl in dress up? I mean, most probably the "cold effect" as you said was done mostly by the saturated color, plus the details of the costume have better quality overall. her hairs were always like that, it' s the old texture that screwed up.

Then maybe maybe i am judging badly because it' s a screenshot and in game feels totally different, but aniway i see it far far away from ruined.

I really liked the new updates on her other skins. But I am kind of sad about this one. The colour of her clothes I could get over, but I really did like her pale skin, that ghostly sheen she had. If they could keep the skin what it was and keep the clothes the new stuff. I think that would make it fantastic.

Masquerade Evelynn should look gaudy and flamboyant, because that's what a masquerade IS. The old model was limited by technology, that's why it looks like that.

If you want "classy dominatrix," go look at Shadow Evelynn.

I like the new one better. It actually looks more detailed, "classy" and not like just a purple single-color, slutty outfit from a 1$ store. It looks like an expensive slutty outfit now.
