WAD Files Update: Morgana and Kayle are added in to the roaster

This is the WAD files updates/leaks and it was made possible by my fam KestrelGirl, so thanks for her wonderful discovery

So now that we remove Xayah, Rakan, Gragas, Nasus, Warwick and lux in the roaster of wad files the only champs left are:

Teemo - the devil himeself will receive a new skin lol, possibly bloodmoon JarvanIV - possibly Bloodmoon candidate but how? Sona - no doubt its gonna be bloodmoon. MissFortune - possibly the bloodmoon legendary. If not, maybe the splash art update in the PBE Chogath - Bloodmoon seems tricky but maybe dark star? Urgot - like cho'gath. But i think its just his chromas in a past PBE patch don't know if this is new. Heimerdinger - imagine a dragon tamer skin for him and possibly swain?(Oppsss..) Akali - I can't decipher what skin it is but she clearly needs a VGU now :( Nunu - My love, He doesn't clearly need a skin or a chroma now, he definitely needs a VGU!! :(

Plus new additions, the angelic sisters Kayle and Morgana ( lol another Vs. Event??) plus they are high in the VGU list too if you ask me. :(

This now makes me wonder who is Riot August VGU because he states in his twitter that it is a girl unless: A. He is just joking and tricking us. Considering 3 of the highly VGU girls are in the skin roaster. B. Some champs above are gonna be VGU'ed this year considering 4 of them are. But as kestrel said, this is located in the champ assets, so... it definitely skins? or riot putting their names already in there for them to change their aesthetics in the future. But doubt it. C. This is clearly just chromas, or other unnecessary updates that doesn't affect the VGU roaster. D. Riot will give VGU's a release skin now

So what's your thoughts about this?

EDIT: MF is just the splash art update, cancelling her chance in getting a skin before these champs above.

File checker here. All 4 of those are in the files, can confirm. MF is a splash update btw.

How do you know for sure? The splashes have been in the works for a long time in between other VGUs. So she might have a new skin coming soon too since the last one was in September, doesn't mean she couldn't get more.

Well cho gath are probably these new vfx and possibly a vu later

Mh, I would love a Duo legendary skin release for Morgana and Kayle, but I don't know. Kayle already has one. I also doubt they already getting VGUs, since a good friend of mine mentioned that we won't get their VGU soon (however, it was a few months ago).

While Blood Moon is a pretty popular theme, I don't think they are bound to specific times in contrast to Lunar Revel, Pool Party, Valentine, Harrowing and Snowdown. So it could be Blood Moon, but it could be a competely different skin theme. Sona probably gonna get a Loot Exclusive skin. I mean, she wouldn't fit in BM, also we still are missing a support skin for the Hextech Crafting and she already has a good amount of skin in different price tags.

MF could be 'cause of the splashart update, could be 'cause they promised to update her VO sooner than later and I'm pretty sure MF gonna get a legendary this year. But this just my thoughts about this topic.

If they have a good idea for their VGUs, they will get them soon. Irelia will get hers before others that need it more because she has great thematic potential and they had an idea for her.

The thing is the most VGUs are already locked in. Riot has already a schedule for all 2018 VGUs and as far I'm aware, Kayle and Morgana are not a part of it. Of course, I only have the word of my insider (however, he never gave me any reason to doubt him) and of course Riot could change their schedule any moment (which wouldn't make any sense, tho). But consider the amount of work a Duo VGU would bring and how long they probably gonna need for it, I doubt we will get their VGUs this year.

Riot likes gives skins to champs that don't need it and ignores the ones that do. I'm honestly not going to be surprised if MF gets another skin, but I will be quite disappointed.

Wad files contain every asset of a champion, so when the game loads in, it doesnt need to collect the data from a million places cause this wad file had everything. They just started moving champs into this format, so most of these files are only small in size, but for some champs that are getting skins are being transitioned into this, meaning that the size of their respective files grow significantly (for example, before we got the new skin for jax, his wad file got really big sometime around November and voila, his skin appeared on the pbe in December. New champs are fully in this file, namely Zoe, Evelynn, and Ornn was the first. For some time this will help in the prediction for skins, or other things. (interesting detail: the new project skins didn't bring with themselves the transition of Vayne, jhin and vi, so their wads remained very small. However jhin has been moved but not vi and Vayne, possibly hinting that jhin will get a new skin (unlikely) or maybe a chroma or something else.

Maybe there's other champions who were supposed to be on the list and aren't on there yet?

i just don't know but since the wad file leaks emerged, all the past candidates had new skins and to no surprise, no champs that was not included in the roaster had new skins since then. Every PBE patch the roaster adds new champions and possibly revealing that some champs in the first batch had a skin.

My stomach just has a hard time eating the fact that August's VGU is strongly implied to be Akali and is getting .WAD and Morgana is likeliest Wrekz candidate...

I'm gonna post my candidate later after school (Maybe after 15 hours).

And i can't believe the fact that 4 of the most highly requested VGU's will receive a skin this year, decreasing their chance in the VGU roaster for 2018. Unless, riot will make an upgrade to the VGU's this year, giving them release skins like new champs.

I even heard a news last week(? forgot the date) that reav3 wants to push the skins team in giving irelia a project skin after/with her VGU i believed.

Super tricky to figure out... I mean, full VGUs take a lot of time ? So i believe they are not on Morgana/Kayle since they need to finish Irelia first, and Irelia is not even in .wad yet.

However we have Akali, Morgana and Kayle who are highly requested VGU and Riot mentionned multiple times being interested in reworking them, possibly after Irelia.

Does that mean they would get a skin right before a VGU ? Isn't it weird in a sense...? Champions with a VGU are supposed to be ineligible for skins. Unless it means their VGU is actually far away to come.

I really don't know.

I think that as for this last wave of skins there will be some Bloodmoon and 1 out-of-line skin release as it has been for Frosty Gragas.

Akali doesn't need a VGU, she is perfectly fine the way she is

Her model is good, her kit is relevent, I don't really get why she needs a VGU

her model is static, has poor textures and polygon count. Her anims are also very outdated and rigid.

Her kit is unhealthy because outside of W it is very one dimensional and basically is a statcheck generator once you get to lvl 6, since there is no way to avoid her engage other than "don't be near her"

So looking back at what we know and possibly guessing towards what they've teased at so far I'm saying this is what the overall list looks like:

So, a J4, Teemo, Heimer and Sona Bloodmoon... hmm that would be weird. I can see Sona and Teemo maybe but the other two not really.

sounds weird too but that's the best theory that my mind can comprehend.

Dragon trainer seems a nice theory too for heimer, teemo(green fire so that it would not be confusing to his devil skin) and sona(sounds weird)

For Jarvan, I can see that he would get a chroma pack for his dragon trainer skin ( but please don't, he deserves a new skin )

And lastly,

Maybe a juicy legendary Dragon Sorcerer/ Master/ Trainer Swain

definitely, Jarvan deserves a new skin.

And a new swain skin is not impossible because there are champs who had a skin a month after their VGU ( cough fiora cough )

Only because they were being worked on at the same time (as they moved into the Fiora VGU at the time they already had a skin in the works). So it's rare as it causes a lot more work for them (2 teams doing 2 things for one champ).

Yeah now that we know that Akali is getting a VGU and its basically confirmed that Nunu is getting one as well,I think it is pretty likely that Kayle and Morgana are the other 2 VGUs that we'll see after Nunu.

I could imagine that one of the 3 (Teemo, Heimerdinger, Sona) gets the new voice, which was approached earlier this year.
