Also an interesting note: Ivern wasn't always the Green Father. He was (presumably) human.

The fact that he used to be a cruel being makes me very interested in him. It gives his already somewhat creepy lines even more meaning.

Assuming it's some kind of font of nature's power it potentially merged with him, perhaps through its own will or by something foul on his part, like him trying to cut it down. Either way it's much different from the spirit origin I was assuming from the start, but he still has that strange quality to him given how, based on his VO and abilities, that he can pass between bodies should one wilt and die, and he can send creatures to safe places using his magic.

Fair. I've actually just been pretty creatively frustrated after I posted my star guardians fic and a pathfinder backstory. Nothing's coming to my head and it gets really frustrating when I have free time to do something but can't think of anything to write.

That and the lack of fight scenes in my head during songs is disturbing.

Especially since that's how my writing process starts off.

I hear music, I imagine a fight or scene, then I write to how that scene happens.

More to do with the song's rhythm and tone than any particular lyrics involved. All you need to know is that it ends with both of them unconcious after having hit each other with their ults one after another.

Other songs to League centric battles include "Hopes and Dreams" + "Save the World" from Undertale to a battle between Poppy and Sion, and Nico and Vinz's "Am I Wrong" to a more drawn out, verbal based conflict between Azir and Xerath.

This is all in my head though so yeah.

But I love your head Sharjo! It's one of my favorites. XD Promise I'm not creepy. I'm just a League lore-whore and have read many of your posts before I was ever able to post on the boards! (My in-game level took ages to sync... aka until I posted to Help & Support. Pfft.) But yeah you're awesome and I'm off to find those Undertale songs and imagine my sweet Hero of Demacia smashing the undead into walls (with sparks of stars of course..)

ALSO I'm also incredibly excited for this champion.. Just to throw that in. I am currently only able to play (mage) Supports & (Tanky) Tops (Mid if I have to, but honestly it's just my supp Lulu taken mid lawl) but I think I may have to finally make my way into the jungle because THIS GUY, looks amazing. Truly. The fact that they've said he's arguably the first support-jungler in the game makes me even more compelled considering how much I LOVE playing support.

Anyways, there's my two cents. ("You haven't seen the last of me!" can be heard in the distance.)

Support-jungler sounds really fun!

His passive, his ultimate and the idea of creating new brush plays seems quite exciting. Definitely going to be someone I'll probably start playing very frequently upon release.

He could refer to Skarner, or he could refer to the Scorpion and the Frog.

Honestly, I don't know what the second animal is, but it goes like this.

There once was a scorpion who wanted to cross a river. Unfortunately, scorpions can't swim. But frogs can! So, Scorpion asked Frog to. Frog said he will, but he will only do so if Scorpion promises not to stab him with his stinger. Scorpion agreed, so Frog let the arachnid ride on his back.

Unfortunately, in the end, Scorpion stabbed Frog. I don't remember fully how the story goes. Either Scorpion waited until the end to get off, or if he stabbed Frog as they were riding, but I'm sure you can see the implications of what Ivern is talking about when it comes to other champions on the rift.

Look, I couldn't lie about this if I wanted to. This is my favorite character and he hasn't even come out yet. I was always a "Hippie" growing up. At one point, I used to work for Greenpeace trying to protect wildlife. I just read this character's bio... I almost shed a tear.

This is, by far, the closest a character has come to sharing philosophies with me (and there have been a couple who came close). I just want to say, Thank You to everyone involved in the character development.

Ivern should be able when he takes the essence of a monster the monster should turn into a friend of iverns and help ivern just like daisy but the rock blue or red rock disappears when it respawns.
